TDA Research, Inc. is located outside Denver, Colorado with two locations in Golden and one in Wheat Ridge.  We have a staff of 130+ mainly engineers and scientists who develop cutting edge chemical processes, materials, and hardware for customers in the defense, aerospace, energy and chemical industries. TDA carries out R&D in developing prototype devices, catalysis and adsorption, aerospace components, and personal protective equipment. Virtually all staff work on two or three projects simultaneously, therefore, an ability to learn quickly is essential.  We rely on a high level of technical competence and efficiency within our team and look for motivated, talented, and skilled innovators to join us in developing advanced solutions.

TDA has an opening for a Facilities Manager to handle all aspects of maintenance, repairs & renovations for all locations and equipment. This role will also supervise the Facilities team.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes and schedule jobs per managements direction
  • Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes
  • Draft and implement preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment
  • Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications
  • Receive, manage, and assign work order requests
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines
  • Train and manage employees in best practices for maintenance work, safety standards, and local laws/regulations
  • Driving between locations in a personal vehicle with adherence to traffic laws
  • Other related duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Knowledge on building/zoning code, electrical code, plumbing code and fire protocol
  • 5+ years of experience in a related role
  • 1+ year(s) of experience supervising employees
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • A valid Driver’s License
  • Strong proficiency with computers, internet navigation, electronic file structures, and the Microsoft platform (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Fluent in English
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Associate’s degree or higher
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to sit, stand, or kneel for extended periods of time
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders
  • Ability to perform work in a variety of weather conditions
  • May require ability to use dust mask or respirator – no facial hair for fitting

Annual Salary Range: $104,000 - $125,000 with the complete benefits package.
